Gravity's Rainbow - Components Kit
Gravity's Rainbow was inspired by the preamps in my old Chilton QM3 console, which I started doing version of back in 20013, arriving at this verison in 2019.
It features a special trafo, configuration switching circuit, so you can load and stack the trafo in 4 different ways, the "correct" one with none of the trafo flips engaged.
To make it a perfect recording channel, I added a bax filter for tone shaping, and if you are into old skool discrete opamps, you can add one for the bax circuit as well as in the preamp.
Input transformer is a Lundahl LL1528, but you can experiment with alternatives.
