Correction note: 20th GssL

There is a correction regarding the switching of the Colour Module insert.

In general, it is not recommended to use the Colour Module "in" as an A/B switch. The global bypass should be used for A/B comparisons instead.

The reason is that the compressor’s make-up gain is used to drive the signal into the Colour Module circuit. If you compensate for the level difference by attenuating the Colour Module insert, you can end up with a very large gain jump when switching, matching how hard you drive it. However, for those using it to A/B, or frequently switching it in and out, its come to light that the circuit pops on switching to a larger of smaller extent. If you use it as a mode setting for the unit, this is a rare and minor issue, but if you use it actively, its a larger issue.

To counter this, place a resistor in the two slots R66 and R67. This is done to create a path to ground on the input nodes of IC11B and IC12B. Resistor values between 100K and 1M will work. Use the open resistor slot placed right next to the input connector for the module on both sides (You should still leave it open, if you do not want to build the unit with a colour module).
